This product is tapered on the side, it is 5mm finished size tapered to a slightly larger face size allowing a very clean tight fit after sanding to the fret board. This allows for good gluing and finsh sanding to a clean edge.
Part dimensions are:
5mm on finished inset side, slightly large on tapered face to allow for a tight fit after finish sanding.
