My new baseline for HBs
I'm a single-coil guy, but bought these for a couple re-builds on pieces I'm selling and was very impressed how these sound for the price-point. As of yet, I've installed a pair in a PRS style copy, completely rewired with other components bought from Bitterroot, and the first thing I noticed was the neck p/u absolutely growls. The bridge is super clean, but not tinny. I still need to tinker with bridge and pickup heights as well as a proper setup & intonation, but I can tell the bridge p/u will not disappoint once I dial it in. This is my new go-to for new builds when/if the client doesn't know exactly what they want just yet.
