This product is tapered on the side, it is 6mm finished size tapered to a slightly larger face size allowing a very clean tight fit after sanding to the fret board. This allows for good gluing and finsh sanding to a clean edge.
Part dimensions are:
6mm on finished inset side, slightly large on tapered face to allow for a tight fit after finish sanding.
7/64" overall thickness (2.98 mm)
