Steel Construction

Standard size, fits very nicely into the palm of your hand.

Machined curved steel blade.

Not recommended for cutting fret wire, primary use is for getting under the fret wire and lifting the fret off the fret board

Always use proper safety equipment and eye protection when using this tool. 
 
This tool is design to allow you to reach under the fretwire and pull it up, do not dig into the fretboard with this tool, it will damage your fretboard. 
 
Some chipping and splintering will happen when removing the fretwire. Heating the fretwire with a soldering iron can assist in making the removeable easier. But you should expect to repair the fretboard when pulling firewire depening on the wood, type of wire and age of the instrument.
